We can start with each of these last days before surgery, lifting up Joe, his Doctors, Nurses and family. Then continuing after the surgery during the recovery and healing process.

Matthew 26:44 NASB says, And he left them again, and went away and prayed a third time, saying the same thing once more.

I think the important message here for us is to keep praying for Joe even if we feel like we have run out of words or have said everything there is to say. I believe this scripture could imply that the words may not be as important as the act of obedience in taking it to the Father. Lets show our obedience and trust in the Lord by PRAYING, PRAYING, and then PRAYING some more.
And the prayer of faith shall save the sick. (James 5:15)
