JERUSALEM PROJECT- CLASS MISSION

On three Mondays in March, Grace Sunday School Classes will provide baked treats for the teaching staff of area schools. This is our way of letting them know how much we appreciate their hard work. Ken Coleman has chosen the ADULTS 4 CHRIST class to handle this task at: Brick Church Middle School (staff of 75). We have been asked to take the treats(cookies, brownies, etc.) to the teacher's lounge on these Monday mornings: 3/9, 3/23, and 3/30. He suggested that the items be brought to class on Sunday morning and be given to the class member responsible for Mondays deliverly. Brenda will provide any additional details.

Even today, many christians seem to believe it was the nails that held Jesus to the cross. Sharpened pieces of iron driven into his body by hammers in the hands of soldiers under orders of the Roman Goverment.

What we should believe, is in the Bible and was the purpose for the cross.

TWENTY-ONE CAME FOR FOOD AND FELLOWSHIP

We couldn't have asked for a better day to go out for a class lunch. The weather was amazing for this time of year. Everyone seemed relaxed and really enjoyed the time we spent together. Kevin Hale blessed the event with a wonderful prayer.The food was very good and our waitress was outstanding. The only thing missing that would have made it even better was the rest of our class that couldn't attend. Lets pray Mimi's fate is much better after our visit than Barfields, who closed their doors shortly after their Grand Opening and our lunch there on Sept. 14th 2008.
