RECORD BREAKING ATTENDANCE FOR GRACE MEMORIAL DAY COOKOUT!
THE SERVICE WAS OUTSTANDING. THE TESTIMONY BY MIKE SUGGS WAS EMOTIONAL AND HEARTFELT. THE LAST SONG BROUGHT THE CONGREGATION TO THEIR FEET. THE KIDS KEPT COOL BY SPLASHING ABOUT ON THE INFLATABLES IN FRONT OF THE CHURCH WHILE THE ADULTS ENJOYED GREAT FELLOWSHIP EVERYWHERE. THE COOKS ENDURED 500+ DEGREES FROM THE GRILLS TO PREPARE THE DELICIOUS HAMBURGERS AND HOTDOGS THAT WE ALL ENJOYED. IT WAS FIRST SUSPECTED THAT WE MIGHT BE SHORT ON FOOD BUT EVEN WITH THE HUGH TURNOUT THERE APPEARED TO BE ENOUGH FOOD LEFT OVER TO FILL ABOUT 12 BASKETS. SOUND FAMILAR?? IT WAS A BLESSING FOR ALL WHO ATTENDED. EVERYONE SHOULD THANK KEN COLEMAN FOR ALL THE HARD WORK REQUIRED IN ORGANIZING, SETTING UP AND CLEANING UP AFTER AN EVENT LIKE THIS - IN ADDITION TO ALL HIS OTHER RESPONSIBILITES.
